In 2014, Brasil Energias acquired CGH Cachoeira Paulista S / A (in the Vale do Paraiba region) and started its activities in the area of electric power generation, with an installed capacity of 1,000 kW.
CGH Cachoeira Paulista Memorial
The Serra da Bocaina Power Plant, one of the first hydroelectric plants of the State of São Paulo and established in 1912, is today known as CGH Cachoeira Paulista. Nowadays, a memorial is open to visitors who wish to learn more about the early years of energy generation. The memorial has preserved and restored collection of tools, objects, documents and machinery.
